I notice I made some mistakes in my letter of yesterday. The reason is that I wrote the letter under heavy time preasure. I am writing now in the middle of the night because I see for me the pictures of 'The English Patient' and the words 'I die, I die, I die' of Kristin Scott Thomas the moment she was waiting for her lover to survive in the desert (Count Laslo de Almasy). That is what happened to me in the spring of 1993. Before visiting the Transferbureau yesterday I passed by the clinic where I had to hide against criminals. At that time, when I had my situation complete under control I was forced to take 'medicines' like haldol, tegretol and cisordinol. They poisoned me and not me alone. They avoided me to keep my promises during the Annus Horribilis that also affected your situation in a very bad way. It took me four years to recover from that terrible mistake. That is why I left my letter of appointment of Mr Holden, the Certificate of Incorporation and the declaration of Instituut Blankestijn in the clinic.

I also received a letter from the lawyer of the Association Cervantes in Madrid that obliges me to abandon my rights to the trade name. Of course I will not but it is a very great struggle. I have to fight for my rights against a 400 millions of people. But I will not give up but try to keep building bridges and reach arrangements. Mr Kok also received a letter of mine yesterday. I also read the article 'I won't pocket 1 million pounds' on page 13 of the Mirror of Yesterday. Don't give up, my Love. It's an identical question. I believe completely that every penny that's to be made out of the sale will go to charity. I regret however that you are not allowed to become involved in anything for commercial gain. You must have the right to use your own venture capital for business purposes as well. But that has nothing to do with the auction of your dresses. I stick to my offer to give you a participation in Instituto Cervantes Holding Limited but as a matter of fact I will be glad when I can limitate myself with educational tasks and leave 'the business to other persons'. Today I will arrange the problem with the Spaniards and send them a copy of my letter to the Spanish Prime Minister of last week. I will write a letter to Robert Wassenaar and I think it will be wise to remain here until everything regarding Instituto Cervantes Benelux has been arranged. Nevertheless my aim to assist the Changing of the Guards on the 22nd of April will remain an absolute goal. I also received the message that the Spanish Instituto has deposited the trade mark in Britain. So they have the first rights in England. That is disappointing. Therefore I have to study further collaboration forms looking for synergy. I received the report of The Patent Office. I see no problem. The Charter Mark contains the text: 'Registration of this mark shall give no right to the exclusive use of the words "Instituto Cervantes".

I communicated my lawyer that the core business of Instituto Cervantes Benelux will be Dutch-Spanish labour policy with a pilot project at Amsterdam Airport. This pilot can be a model for the benefit of British-Spanish labour policy. I like to organize this in good collaboration with the British Court. I read the outlines on page 3 of The Sun next to a naked girl. I think this is shameless journalism. I am glad however that you followed my advice to take legal actions against unauthorized photographers. You are getting stronger and stronger. I think I also have to take legal actions against The Sun because of the use of the term Queen of Hearts on page 16 without my approval. This afternoon I told Liesbeth that I am secretly engaged with a member of the British Royal Family and explained that 'engagement' means to me 'mutual support'. I think I must go by in Fleet Street, 1 Serjeants' Inn.
