William was seen consoling one of the youngsters whose food was too hot to eat. Kate and William appeared relaxed and happy after spate of public engagements. Punters were shocked to see Prince William and Kate Middleton tucking into a pub lunch in Norfolk at the weekend. The royal pair were joined by Princes George, aged eight, and Louis, three and Princess Charlotte, six, as they all enjoyed burgers and chips at the undisclosed beer garden on Saturday. The family’s black spaniel Lupo was also in attendance – spotted sniffing around the wooden table as the royals tucked into some traditional English pub grub.  William, donning a navy jumper and light blue shirt, was seen consoling one of the youngsters when their food proved too hot to eat.  Meanwhile young George kept it more casual than usual in a turquoise t-shirt, shorts and trainers. The happy couple appeared relaxed as they enjoyed some family time after a busy spate of public engagements. Kate had recently met with Afghan veterans in Brize Norton in Oxfordshire and cadets in Lake Windermere, before playing doubles with US Open champion Emma Raducanu in Roehampton. Meanwhile Prince William had attended emergency services day in London and visited football youth teams. A witness told the Sun: ‘It was amazing to see how down-to-earth the family were.

‘It would have been easy to miss them – and just assume they were any other family. ‘They were laughing and chatting and clearly enjoying each other’s company.’ The witness added: ‘They were eating outside, I suppose because it was easier for the children. ‘There was no security around, just them chilling like any other family. Wills had a burger and chips. ‘They had their pet dog, a spaniel with them, and they were all laughing.  ‘There was one particularly touching moment where one of the children got upset because their food was too hot. ‘William was so fast to reassure them and sort them out. It was fantastic to see.’ The family day out came as it was revealed Prince William and David Attenborough will present a new BBC programme about the environment. The show will feature pioneers who have been recognised for finding innovative solutions to the most pressing climate issues. In a trailer introducing the documentary, The Earthshot Prize: Repairing Our Planet, The Duke of Cambridge, 39, tells viewers ‘this is a moment for hope, not fear’. The Queen’s grandson, who lives at Kensington Palace in London with Kate and their three children, will speak with winners of The Earthshot Prize, a global competition he launched alongside The Royal Foundation in October 2020, in the five-part series. The series will air from October 3, and each episode will focus on a different environmental issue – protecting and restoring nature, fixing the climate, combating air pollution, reviving the oceans, and tackling waste.

Where have you been this afternoon?” Mijn antwoord “I’ve been to Eton College. I’ve got some friends up there.” Waarop zij antwoordde met “Yes I know. Prince William. I know him from the Pizzahut in Windsor”.

10:14 Meghan’s subtle tribute to Diana: Duchess of Sussex carried 3,450 pounds Dior bag named after the late princess in New York – while als wearing her mother-in-law’s Cartier watch By Chloe Morgan For Mailonline Published: 09:04 BST, 27 September 2021 | Updated: 09:09 BST, 27 September 2021 Meghan Markle paid a subtle tribute to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana by carrying a Dior bag named after her in New York – while also wearing her Cartier watch. The Duchess of Sussex, 40, stepped out at the Global Live Citizen event on Saturday wearing a black coat and scarf in 76F weather – but it was her accessories that captured the attention of royal fans. The mother-of-two paid a touching tribute to late Princess Diana by carrying Christian Dior’s Lady D-Lite bag, which retails at £3,450. Originally called ‘Chouchou,’ the Lady Dior bag changed its name in 1996 in honour of Princess Diana after she was seen using it. The boxy bag was gifted to the late royal by the First Lady of France in September 1995, at the opening of the Paul Cézanne retrospective at Paris’s Grand Palais. At this time, the Chouchou wasn’t yet on sale to the public, and only in the possession of the world’s one per cent. And it wasn’t long before Diana starting pairing the black patent bag with many of her chic ensembles – including a white Versace suit that she wore during a trip to Argentina on November 26, 1995. Admitting it ‘suited her well,’ the late royal then went on to commission another in navy blue to match the colour of her eyes.

MIJN VERBINDENDE ELEMENTEN D.D. 8 SEPTEMBER VANAF 1995

The Firm’ as they prepare to ‘lead modern monarchy’, former private secretary claims. Prince William and Kate Middleton, both 39, have been given a ‘higher role’. Andrew Lownie said as the Queen ‘stands back’, others are ‘stepping’ forward. Insider revealed they hope to ‘mix traditional duty with being modern parents’. By Harriet Johnston For Mailonline Published: 17:53 BST, 7 September 2021 | Updated: 17:57 BST, 7 September 2021. Kate Middleton’s ‘down-to-earth background’ balances perfectly with Prince William’s ‘experience in The Firm’ as they prepare to ‘lead modern monarchy’, their former private secretary has claimed. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, both 38, are currently living in their London home of Kensington Palace as their children Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three, return to school and nursery in the capital. Insiders have now revealed how the the couple’s ‘magic’ comes from their different backgrounds, and said the pair plan to ‘mix the traditional duty with being thoroughly modern parents’. Speaking to People magazine, the Cambridge’s former private secretary Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton said: ‘He has the experience of knowing where the institution sits and seeing it evolve. The Duchess brings this pragmatic awareness of what it’s like to be from a decent, down-to-earth family.’ It comes as royal author Andrew Lownie claimed the couple have been given a ‘higher role’ in the royal family due to their popularity. Meanwhile Jamie said Kate’s hard-working family background offered a perfect balance to Prince William’s future as king. Another source added that they hope to focus on ‘different subjects the family hasn’t always connected with’, with Jamie explaining: ‘If you had scoured the realm you couldn’t have got a better pair, frankly.’  Speaking to the Express, Andrew said the Duke and Duchess are stepping forward as the Queen is ‘standing back.’ He explained: ‘William and Kate, who seem to be very popular, are stepping into the position that Charles and Camilla had. ‘Because they are, I would say almost more popular than Charles and Camilla, they’ve probably been given a higher role.’ It comes after it was revealed the Duke and Duchess are ‘seriously considering’ a move to Windsor. The mooted relocation, which would bring the family closer to the Queen, is the most significant sign yet that the couple are preparing to take on a far more senior role at the heart of the Royal Family. A source said William and Kate have been ‘eyeing up’ accommodation options in the area suitable for bringing up their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. They added that properties under consideration could include Fort Belvedere, a Grade II listed house with tower towards the southern end of Windsor Great Park, where King Edward VIII – the Queen’s uncle – signed his abdication papers in 1936. The fort is owned by the Crown Estate and leased to the Weston family, close friends of the Royals. From the top of the tower, on a clear day, Edward once wrote, you could see the dome of St Paul’s ‘with a spyglass’. But the fort has been dismissed as an option by Palace aides. Moving the family west – wherever they end up – could prove strategic as well as practical, as the monarchy prepares for major changes in the years ahead. At the moment, the Cambridges split their time between their London base at Kensington Palace, where they also have their offices, and their country home of Anmer Hall in Norfolk.”

08:33 Ontvangen Andrew-bolts-Balmoral-Prince-quits-Windsor-join-mother-Scottish-holiday Andrew bolts for Balmoral: Prince quits Windsor to join his mother on her Scottish holiday. Prince Andrew has left Royal Lodge and gone to Balmoral, reports indicate. He was driven on a 500-mile trip to the Queen’s 50,000-acre Scottish estate. Papers have not yet been served on the duke or his lawyers despite ‘multiple attempts’ at Royal Lodge, Windsor, in the last fortnight. Published: 02:17 BST, 8 September 2021 | Updated: 07:18 BST, 8 September 2021. Prince Andrew has made a dash for Balmoral. The Duke of York, 61, was seen with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson yesterday leaving Royal Lodge, before the pair took a 500-mile trip to the Queen’s 50,000-acre Scottish estate, where she is staying while on holiday, The Sun reports.

First things first! Dankzij Haar aanwezigheid in Oisterwijk.
