JOHN L. VAN DER HEYDEN 3500 AR UTRECHT KINGDOM OF THE NETHERLANDS MR. L.R. JELL ALDENHAM HERTFORDSHIRE WD2 BBP ENGLAND UNITED KINGDOM Date: 24 December 2003 Concerns: MY LADY'S LAST WILL Reference: 20031224JHLRJ Dear Leslie, Thank you very much for the copy of Princess Diana's last will that I received from you on the 23d of December 2003. Although the text is interesting and contains the signatures of some parties concerned I am afraid that this last will is not valid. It dates from the time that Diana was still married to Prince Charles. After Her divorce on the 28th of August 1996 a complete other situation came about. As everybody knows Diana's divorce settlement was made up by solicitor Anthony Julius. As far as I can remember he worked also for the firm of Mishcon de Reya of 21 Southampton Row London WC1B 5HS. Concerning that matter on the 18th of September 1998 I sent a lettter to HRH The Prince of Wales with copy to the Prime Minister. I received His reaction, but until now no action has been taken as far as I am informed. I still consider it very strange that Prince Charles had to pay a 400.000 pound bill to the office of solicitors Boodle Hatfield. Immediately after Princess Diana's death I continued my writings to Her brother Charles as you may see at Report 37, Report 38 and Report 39. If you have read my book Letters to Diana' Princess of Wales with greatest care you may conclude that Diana probably had become my wife. I was THE MAN behind Diana.
Therefore it is strange that Her last will of December 1996 still has not been published yet. I also sent a letter to Her sister Lady Sarah MacCorquodale. On the 28th of December 1999 I delivered personally my Last Will on behalf of Prince William at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. You will find my report of that journey in Dutch in Over the Border. And finally I informed HRM the Queen in my letters Honourable Proposal, Letters and Letters to Diana, Princess of Wales. As I told you in THE NUMBER ONE BAR in Torremolinos in the night of 13/14 December your version of Diana's Last Will is important to consider how to proceed. I am now reading the Dutch translation of Paul Burrell's book A Royal Duty (In Koninklijke Dienst). In this book Paul speaks about 'a big secret'. I am convinced that he speaks about our planned family company Van der Heyden/Spencer with the name Instituto Cervantes Limited England and Wales. I herewith ask your collaboration to reveal that secret with the one and only objective that JUSTICE WILL BE DONE AND WE CAN START THE BUSINESS AS WE PLANNED. Receive my best wishes for the new year and as I wrote: HOPE TO SEE YOU AT ALTHORP HOUSE. YOURS SINCERELY, JOHN L. VAN DER HEYDEN, KINGDOM OF THE NETHERLANDS. CC EH.
